The story behind the new owners of The Lower Street Brasserie.
The Wells’ see a dining experience as a combination of fantastic food, accompanying drinks, relaxed but vibrant atmosphere and top-class service. – we believe that if one of these components is not met the dining experience cannot reach its full potential. Something that we are passionate about delivering consistently to each of our customers that walks through the door.
It has been Simon’s dream to be a restaurant owner since he was young and pursued a career as a chef after leaving school, working locally in Anton’s by Anton Edelmann (Great Hallingbury Manor), Alec’s fish restaurant (Navestock-side), becoming a head chef at COHO Brasserie (Old Harlow) and most recently working in the Army and Navy Private Members Club (Pall Mall, London). He is passionate about combining all the skills acquired at these quality establishments and making a success of The Lower Street Brasserie.
